Meet Cookie, a gorgeous lilac British Shorthair male kitten with a soft plush coat, beautiful golden eyes, and the sweet round face that makes British Shorthairs so easy to fall in love with. 💜 Cookie has a very elegant look, with his smooth lilac coloring, thick coat, sturdy little body, and calm expression. His photos show off that classic British Shorthair appearance beautifully — round cheeks, expressive eyes, soft dense fur, and an adorable teddy-bear look.
Cookie would be a wonderful choice for someone looking for a kitten who combines a beautiful appearance with the calm and affectionate personality the British Shorthair breed is known for. British Shorthairs are popular family companions because they are typically easygoing, intelligent, playful without being overly demanding, and happy to spend time near their people. Cookie has that charming, gentle look that makes him especially hard to resist. 🥰
✨ About Cookie
🐱 Breed: British Shorthair
💜 Color: Lilac
♂️ Gender: Male
💉 Vaccinated twice
🩺 Dewormed
💳 Microchipped
🚽 Potty/litter trained
🏡 Raised in a home environment
❤️ Socialized and accustomed to people
Cookie’s beautiful lilac coat is one of the features that makes him stand out. Lilac British Shorthairs have a soft, warm gray-beige tone that looks especially beautiful in natural light. His coat is short, dense, and plush, giving him the classic “teddy bear” appearance associated with the breed. His striking amber-golden eyes create a beautiful contrast against his coat and give his face a very expressive, curious look.
British Shorthairs are also known for their solid, balanced build. As Cookie continues growing, he should develop more of the broad chest, rounded face, thick coat, and strong body structure that make the breed so recognizable. They mature gradually, and their famous round appearance often becomes even more noticeable as they get older.
💙 Personality & Home Life
British Shorthairs are often a great match for families, couples, and individuals who want a friendly companion without an extremely high-energy personality. They enjoy playtime and interaction but are also perfectly happy relaxing nearby while their family works, watches TV, or spends time at home.
Cookie is being raised around normal household activity, helping him become comfortable in a home environment. He has been socialized and is already potty trained, which makes the transition into his new home much easier. A new family can focus on bonding with him instead of starting completely from scratch with basic household routines.
Like most kittens, Cookie will still enjoy toys, climbing, exploring, chasing little objects, and having interactive play sessions. Providing scratching posts, cat trees, comfortable sleeping spots, and regular playtime will help keep him active and entertained. At the same time, British Shorthairs are generally appreciated for having a calmer style than some very active breeds.
🩺 Prepared for His New Home
Cookie has already received two vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. He is also potty/litter trained. These are important steps that help make the move into a new home smoother for both the kitten and the new family.
Microchipping provides permanent identification and adds an extra layer of security in case a pet is ever lost. His vaccination and deworming schedule also means important early kitten-care steps have already been completed.
🏡 Looking for a Loving Family
We want Cookie to go to a home where he will be treated as a family member and receive plenty of attention, affection, proper care, and a safe indoor environment. British Shorthairs can form strong bonds with their owners and often enjoy quietly following their people from room to room. They may not always demand constant attention, but they definitely enjoy being included in everyday family life.
